Who’s behind this
OfficePlantsHub is written and edited by Fakharuddin Manik, the site’s founder.
For more than five years, I’ve been growing and caring for indoor plants, office plants, outdoor plants, and garden plants as a personal passion. My experience comes from hands on plant care in my own home, office, and garden, where I regularly water, repot, prune, propagate, fertilize, and troubleshoot common plant care problems.
Professionally, my background is in content strategy and SEO. While I’m not a certified horticulturist, I believe trustworthy plant content comes from combining real world experience with careful research. Every article I publish is based on practical observations, verified against reputable horticultural sources, and reviewed before publication.
We don’t currently have a dedicated horticulture reviewer on staff. Rather than presenting credentials we don’t have, we rely on transparent sourcing, practical experience, and careful editorial review. If our editorial team expands in the future, this page will be updated accordingly.
How our content is created
Articles published on OfficePlantsHub begin with detailed research and editorial planning.
AI tools assist with drafting and organizing information, but every article is personally reviewed, edited, fact checked, and refined by Fakharuddin Manik before publication. Practical experience gained from caring for plants over the past five years is combined with reliable reference materials to ensure the content is accurate, clear, and genuinely useful for readers.
We believe transparency matters. AI helps improve efficiency, but it does not replace editorial judgment. Every published article reflects a combination of practical experience, careful research, and human review.
Where our information comes from
For factual claims – plant care requirements, toxicity, air quality benefits, and similar topics – we prioritize sources like:

- ASPCA’s plant toxicity database, for pet-safety information
- Established gardening and horticultural reference organizations
We avoid citing other content sites, forums, or unsourced claims as the basis for factual statements. Where something is genuinely a matter of general consensus rather than a single citable source (for example, “snake plants are considered low-maintenance”), we say so in general terms rather than attributing it to a source that doesn’t actually say that.
Corrections and updates
